not much is known about the deity called foniás (killer), mythos having changed by word of mouth over the years. some say that she was bore from the night herself, having no father and coming out evil to the core. others say that she was once a spartan princess betrayed after the pythia, who had been corrupted and bribed, declared that she needed to die or else sparta would fall, and in her last moments, she promised to come back and slay every demigod sent to help greece.despite these many rumors, nobody knows the truth of what happened. they only know that foniás became something so vile to the greek world that they didn't want to even utter her name in fear of her coming after them. o imítheos dolofónos, the demigod killer. the terrorizer of all of ancient greece's so⸻called "heroes" like theseus, perseus, and herakles. despite not being any of their killers, it was documented that she murdered dozens of demigods before they came to become like those who came before them, and still continues to do it to this day.

the greeks had tried to get rid of her the same way that helios ^& selene disappeared, and that was by no longer worshipping her, which would cause her to fade away in time. it would have worked, had the fear within them been stuffed away ^& her cult of foniás not been formed.it's said that her hounds lead her to her next victim, and when they catch a scent they never let go until the deed is done or if she decides to allow the demigod to escape.it's also said that she parades around as a demigod to get closer to her victims before striking.
